Schaeffler have recently moved into office space in the iconic Fort Dunlop building on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre. The open plan office and meeting rooms were uncomfortable to use because of the echo and reverberation within the spaces.

The issue:

Following our site survey, we were able to propose products that could be installed with the minimum of fuss, that not only solved the problems but also, because of the wide colour choice of fabric available, met the aesthetic requirements of the client

The solution:

• Meeting rooms – 50mm thick, Vertiface wrapped Autex Quietspace panels fixed to the walls

• Open plan office – 1200x1200mm Ecophon Solo Squares suspended from the ceiling

As soon as the wall panels were installed, the client commented on the difference made, and how pleased they were with the effect
